Hi all! Thought i'd just post those progress shots up. I took them today. I've been having abit of pain with my braces as of recently, i can feel the roots of the bottom teeth moving around. But its alright now. Here they are.

Here's a comparison between my when the spring was placed on March 23rd (12 weeks in), compared to 32 Weeks

Image Image

As you can see, a huge difference! and in about 5 weeks my ortho said he'll start pulling that tooth in with the rest of them! woo hoo! finally. Nearly 5 months with this open coil spring!

Oh also, nah these are just normal braces, not Damon braces, i'm not even sure what Damon braces are :)

As you can see on the left picture, they closed up the gap to straighten out the other 3 teeth, then they had to reopen it again to allow the other tooth to fit in.

look forward to hearing some feedback :)

That's wild how they can get that one little tooth worked into there! It's so great!

My husband plays guitar. Just thought I'd throw that in there! LOL!

I can't believe I haven't checked out your story before! Your progress is absolutely amazing so far. :) It looks like that spring is doing the trick, 5 weeks and the little guy will be joining the team!

I watched a couple of your YouTube videos. Very impressive! I picked up a guitar for the first time about three weeks ago. Everything is so much harder than it looks.

Looking forward to following your progress!

Just stopping by to say hello, Chris! Your teeth are looking great. I've got this one wonky tooth also; like you mine wasn't bracketed when I was first braced, and I've got a spring to make room for it also.

Great to hear they're going to start drawing yours forward :!:

Hi Chris!

Looking forward to seeing pics of your lower lateral finally getting wired in. When it finally does happen, it's going to feel so normal & natural, like it's been that way all your life.... :D

Really great that your wayward tooth is now on its way forward, Chris!

A little hard to tell from the pic -- what's that running from the spring to the wayward lateral? Very interesting configuration!

Hi guys!

thanks for your comments :) the clear thing running from my tooth to the spring is actually a highly tensed piece of elastic, my otho said he needs to bring to tooth forward enough so that he can attach it to the arc-wire i've never seen this method before, but i tell you its working! already i've seen a change, just in a few 5 days! :) so by next month it will have come in alot and he will be able to attach it to the arc wire and then line it all up! oh so excited! by bottom arc is so close to being normal hehe.
