Your progress had been amazing so far and so quick. All the pain is clearly worth it, and I am a tad jelouse since my teeth have not moved at all in the last month not even a tiny bit. So congratulations on your progress so far.
Re: Power chain is torture...
When you say hefty bends to bring the canines forward, do you mean in the wire? I'm interested because I think I need to tilt my canines outwards but my dentist is not sure if it's possible.Chippy3000 wrote:Update!
Nearing the end! My appointments are now ten days apart which is great because I have been wearing a power chain for two days and my god the pain. It's the same level of pain as week 1 in braces. Seriously. So the bottoms are basically there and we have a few tweaks on top. She put some hefty bends to bring my canine forward. Eep.
(Pics make it look like I have an overbite/overjet but it's just a poor pic)

Debracing Date!!
7th of December! Almost 9 months in braces! They look a bit uneven because the bottom edges have uneven wear but so so pleased!

This is probably a really stupid question, but is the retention process the same for 6MS as for 'regular' braces?

I'm so happy for you. Your results are amazing. Your really lucky you have no bite issues as I do, otherwise would of gone with 6 month smiles too. I also love the shape and size of your teeths, everything has come together so nicely!
