braces to correct an 8MM overbite

So iv been in braces for a month and a week

Not as bad as i hoped

I recently turned 30, infact, my braces is my 30th birthday gift to myself
The day i got my braces, i was so scared but it turned out OK...My mouth was just opened for long

But the dr and his team were really reassuring

Afterwards I felt no pain but I took Ibu profen

Tried to eat - felt weird to chew because of what the dr put on my molars to prevent me from biting on the braces
The next day, the teeth ached but nothing unbearably

\After 2 days i stopped taking ibuprofen

Iv not really llost any weight - that is because iv found a way to eat any and everything i want to
Also, its been easier as the days roll by

My next adjustment was supposed to be yesterday but I had a very important party to go do I moved it by 3 days to Monday

Trying to live up this weekend because I know it will be a while before I am able to crack a chicken bone

Ps did I say I have ceramic braces

Had my first adjustment today

Wasn't a biggie
My broken bracket was replaced

My ligatures were changed this time to pearl colored ligatures (from too the colored)... Fingers crossed that it doesn't get as stained

Then a fresh wire was placed

The Ortho said he is working on my alignment first and afterwards we would start moving the teeth backwards to correct the overbite

Hopefully I will be able to post pictures soon
