Hi Dom- wish i had the other 12 of my teeth braced since those are the most crooked. I did notice the floss slides in much easier in a few that r braced. Can't wait for the premolar gaps to close.
Just saw that your adjustment is set for april 10- the same day as mine. Good luck!

Woo! Same day, that's great I think I've noticed flossing is slightly easier in a couple of teeth, too.

Yay, great that you're noticing movement and gaps are closing!

As for the tiny black dot, eek! If you're concerned I'd check with your dentist to be safe!

i wish mine was that soon mine is on april 21st though i might pop into the ortho office before that to get my wire and ligs changed

sooo not looking forward to this adjustment. The last couple of days when I have chewed down on something, it has caused such pain in my premolar that it has caused me to gasp. It feels like my tooth was going into shock from the pain. I hate that feeling since I have been in braces the most.

having my adjustment in a couple of hours. this time i'll get blue power chains. not looking forward to going, but i have noticed the extraction gaps on the left side getting smaller. The right side seems to be more stubborn.
The more movement I see with the gaps closing, the faster i can get the other teeth braced.

I have my adjustment in 45 mins. I can't decide what color ligs to go with. Last time I got light blue but I thought it made my teeth look more yellow than they do. I am leaning towards purple again or just plain old silver.

I responded on your post on my story and didn't say what ligs I got. I actually did get bright blue! It looks like this color blue!

Pretty uneventful-same wire just got new power chains. I hate getting those changed out. Since i only have braces on my molars and premolars there is alot of pressure on the premolars causing discomfort and pain when the new ones go on. My next appt is may 10
What about u dom and ebony?

My top gaps are closing much faster than my bottom ones. I can tell also besides the gap closing, but also by the fact that I need to put wax on the poking wire at the end.
I guess i'll be getting at least my top brackets on soon because of the movement. we'll see on may 10

My adjustment has been moved up to today instead of Thursday. I'll be getting a new heavier wire and new power chains. I was told that they will be working on closing up the gaps so that next time I can get my other teeth braced.
I'm a little annoyed that I was supposed to specifically see my ortho today (didn't last time because of a holiday and he was off) and now was told a few days before the appt that he wouldn't be in this week and that I'd be seen by the other ortho that will be filling in. I know that treatment is early on and maybe it is ok to miss seeing him this time again, but I feel like I should be seeing him EVERY time. I even mentioned that I could come next week to see him and she said that next week would be difficult to get an appt at the time I needed and they felt that coming in today was better. I made it clear with the office manager that I wanted to see him to discuss the next step and she said that she'd give me an appt for 2 weeks from today's appt to do that. I will promise myself to be firmer that I be not given appt's when he is known to be out.
