Well, then nevermind me. I didn't know you already had teeth extracted before. You do need at least one set of premolars on each jaw. I completely agree with you about the surgery though. No way would I have that either. I guess the TADS thing would be the next best thing but if there's a low success rate, then you probably picked the right option.

Good luck with the quickfix and hope it works for you. Question, since it's short term treatment, is it going to cost you less than regular price or do you know? Just curious.

dayeangphurr: I replied to your pm.

Chocomorsal: Thanks for the well wishes:) Yes, the smaller treatment has a smaller price tag. With brackets it would be about $1,500 Canadian but I'm going for Invisalign so it will be more than that. I'll get my price quote for the aligner treatment next week. I don't mind paying a little extra for the removable option and it looks like my insurance covers it the same as they would brackets, from initial inquiries. So it will cost me only 40% of the total price if they accept it. Fingers crossed!

Hi Lilone :D

Thanks for visiting my story the other day. I did get de-braced that day, even though I thought it was only a slim possibility! My de-banding story (w/ pics) will be posted soon.

Lots of luck w/ your decisions and your treatment. It's all worth it!

Mike
