Mike,
I'm not sure what I'll do about all of the chipped teeth. He's going to have to do some contouring to get my teeth to all "fit" later on in the process, so we'll see how much is left to be done after that. (and how much money is left in my smile account, LOL!) He wanted to avoid extractions, because of the change it would have made in my profile, so contouring was the better option. I am MORE than happy with that choice. :) So once all is finished I'll just have to see how obvious the dents and knicks are at that point. They may not bother me, since most are on the bottom anyway.

Here is the latest photo. You still can't see much change when looking from the front. :) I'll take it though, my teeth are definitely moving!

My next adjustment is coming up on Tuesday. I'm pretty sure I've had a lot of movement this time, and he also mentioned I would be getting a new wire. It feels like it's been forever since I had anything done! I'll post pics after I'm all done. :)

New wire, new ligs. LOTS of pressure but no pain yet. :O) He said we should be ready to talk about bottom arch getting braced at my next appointment. (Dec 21st)

I just looked at some photos taken from the front, and can't believe how much straighter the wire is! Wow....I've read this on other people's stories, but it's amazing how you don't realize the severity of your crooked teeth until they start becoming straight! I've only been in braces 3 months, and the difference is HUGE!

Hey Sonya,
Thanks for dropping by my thread. Your teeth are looking good! The wire is so much straighter now, give it a bit more time, you'll have a lovely arch!

Your teeth are super white too! What's your secret? =)

Lots of movement since my last photos. Last visit, we scheduled the bracing day of my bottom arch. So in 5 weeks...I'll be completely braced (plus a new wire on top, and some brackets are being moved around). For once in my life I've actually been smiling BIG! I love the new baby blue ligs (much prettier in person than they are in the photo)

I agree with everyone who says you have a beautiful smile and it is accentuated by your braces. You've got to be thrilled with all the movement in a relatively short time. My guess is that you will be able to get some minimal bonding to straighten out the rough spots in the end and it shouldn't be very costly. Great to see your progress!

I agree with Plugnickel who agrees with everyone else. Your teeth are beautiful!!

I'm such a weenie, I'm not looking forward to the pain but you can really see a lot of changes already so that has to help mitigate it somewhat. Maybe a little? Heh.
