Ken:
I'm jealous of anyone with a garage with parts scattered all over it. I have a small single car garage with one bay. It's filled with an 86 Chrysler Laser I keep on swearing I'm going to find the time to restore. Now I'm trying to mod my Cruiser Convertible. I'm starting with the suspension by lowering it, adding strut tower braces and changing the bushings. I'll probably do on my next door neighbors parking pad. His is concrete while mine is gravel.

I thought I might be able to work on the Laser next summer but it appears I have other plans.

Thanks for the pix. Looks like your Dad has some awesome nice cars :!:

I can see why guys want to buy them form him. That Nova is sweet!!

And the garage looks like the typucal car guys place. Lotsa parts everywhere. Mine has car parts and spare engines etc., etc., too!! Some for my Drag Vega and some for my streetrod!! I really need a bigger garage!!

I'll be looking forward to those other pix when ya' got the time to get'em.

Here's a little bit better picc of my '72 Vega on the trailor after coming home from the strip. This winter I'm goint to put fiberglass door and back hatch on it. that should loose about 100 lbs or so from the car

Hey Karess, A buddy of mine just sent me a sample pic of what I went to our local track to watch yesterday.

The UMTR (United Manuel Transmission Racers) were there to put on their show. It's a race group that travels all over the East Coast to race at different tracks. There were 50+ of them, all stick shifters. They were Awesome. I haven't downloaded my pix yet. The camera is out in the car and it's 38 Deg., So I gotta get some coffee in me before I go out!

Your Dad oughta dig this pic!

My dad went to the Drag Strip today, I didnt get a chance to go because I had to work
but I JUST deleted a picture out of my phone this morning of our drag strip. it looks exactly like that and it was of a car (forgot which) that red light and took off on the back tires, lol!
i'll show him the picture though.
But yeah when I go to the industrial park ill take pictures of everything.

Ken:
I was up your way this past weekend. I have to admit I'm struck with Ohio. Great food, decent housing, cheap groceries, crappy traffic. Oh, well can't have everything!

Are you trying to run the manual circuit? Looks like fun with no foot brakes or cut out boxes. Do they allow Lencos?

Keep up the good work. I'm looking forward to my last place finish in the Wire and Powerchain Four Hundred.

Ken"
Had a quick chance to catch up with me "race buddy." Its a bummer that you've had this little detour. It's terribly frustrating to see people our age laid off and have to start looking. I find myself wondering what's going on with the economy and our world.
