Hey, just read through your story.

Looks like you've got the same brackets as I do on your uppers, and we've even got those awkward elastic hooks on the same ones too :

Great photos, lots of movement there. I've been braced a month today and I haven't had that much movement I don't think. Well done.

Hi Guys

Thanks for your messages.

I have been so busy with work lately that i havent had much chance to get on the commy. Also i babysat my 8 month old nephew for the first time at the weekend which was lovely but my whole day was dedicated to him. He is such a cutie!!

Anyway i just wanted to come on here and let you know that i have got my next lot of extractions on Thursday so that will be for my two lower premolars and then getting them braced in just less than 3 weeks.

Ill be back on here after my extractions as i am taking the day of work. That will give me chance to get caught up on peoples stories on here.

Speak again soon

Hi Guys,

Wow i need to get on here more often, i am missing out on peoples stories and i really need to catch up.

Well the extractions went well and i had no problems what so ever with them and the sites are healing nicely.

So i had my 2nd Adjustment appointment on Friday where i had my lowers braces put on.

I have got metal lowers and they are not too bad really, i am glad that i made the decision to have ceramic on my uppers as my lower braces stand out alot more than the ceramics and i guess i am a bit vain :D only a little bit though lol

Well the appointment went well apart from that he didnt do any adjustments on my upper braces which at the time i was abit gutted about. (the day after i didnt mind so much as my bottom teeth ached sooo badly)

I went home after the appointment and sat down to have my tea of Spaghetti bolognese and i was half way through eating when there was a loud crack. That scared the hell out of me as i thought i might have broken a tooth. In fact i had managed to knock off my back bracket on my lower right hand side which was now swinging around on the wire at the back of my mouth and was very annoying as i could hardly talk properly.

So as the orthos office was closed by this time i decided to call the on call dentist as i just didnt know what to do. I managed to get an appointment for 11am on the Saturday morning where he removed the bracket and clipped the wire so that i didnt have it swinging around. It was such a relief to get rid of that.

I have got to call the orthos office today to see what doc wants me to do. I'm guessing that i will have to go in on Friday so that he can replace the bracket.

I have taken some piccies but i havent had time to upload them yet, i promise that i will get them on here soon.

I hope everyone is ok

hi hannah, what kind of ceramic brackets do you have? Are they the Ice kind?
I am very jealous, yours are prettier than mine
Are you wearing the 'smoke' colored ligs as well? (in the pics on pg. 10)
