If you're like me you'll be looking in the mirror every 5 minutes to check for changes!

Blimey, I'm shocked at how quickly they move. This is only my 3rd day and when I woke up this morning I realised that my molars don't meet in the same place anymore and on one side they don't meet at all.

Eating lunch was a challenge but a big bowl of hearty soup with two slices of bread broken up in it did the trick

Thought I would update as it's been a month since I was braced. I haven't had any problems really except a slight lisp at the moment. Still can't eat toast or pringles which is the only thing that annoys me really lol.

I was so pleased that my ortho said that I had the cleanest teeth he had seen that day when I went in to have my wire cut yesterday. I said "thanks but I bet all your other patients were children" and he said actually no they were all adults. Made me feel happy that I'm doing a good job.

I still only have top braces..gonna be quite a while before I get the bottoms.

I can definitely see they've moved hun, they are flaring out a bit. Glad you aren't having any trouble with discomfort.

Thanks Ellie but it's made a little gap between my front teeth and when I talk air goes through it and I lisp and whistle a bit lol....oh and I've started dribbling too. Some woman stopped me in Tesco's on Saturday asking me if I wanted to go to her photographic studios to have a portrait taken. I gave her a huge toothy dribbly grin and said no thanks, she didn't ask again

Thanks Lisa...I do have an ulcer today, just came up for some reason...I had my wire changed yesterday because it had got too short, maybe that's why.

Had my first adjustment yesterday. He put a thicker wire on but said it is 2 times thicker than he would normally put on at this stage and he is being "ambitious" lol. My back teeth have not got enough support in the finer wires apparently.

I'm sure he knows what he's doing but gosh do my frigging teeth ache this morning  I'm not bothered though, I like a bit of pain.

New pics in a week.

It's a shock when you go upto a thicker wire, innit?

Hope the pain subsides enough for your curry night.

Gosh that's gotta be the longest week on record and I STILL haven't took any pics lol

Treatment going to plan, no problems whatsoever, very little pain. Got horrid molar build ups that make eating a challenge. Getting bottom braces on in 9 weeks.

I know me bad lol but I've had soooo much upheaval and things going on in my personal life that my braces and teeth seemed totally insignificant for a while, if that's possible.

Back on track now I think and I will take some pics over the weekend.

Hope you are well Meryaten.
