Those look like Damon brackets (I have Damons). How come you have ligs with Damon braces? They look cute.

I know you don't need ligs but they offered just for looks which surprised me... So I picked pink!

I'm so glad you are doing so well! What stage are you at in eating these days? Are you finding that people are noticing them or not so much? Sounds like you are out to a great start, esp now that those darn spacers are long gone!

So I got my spacers and brackets this morning! I'm a little hesitant about the bottoms (metal). The tops are clear and TOTALLY clear! It makes the bottoms stand out even more. I get the wires on next Friday... tempted to have them change the bottoms out to clear but I'll give them a week to see if they grow on me :-)

So how many hours did it take for your spacers pain to kick in? I'm still ok (it's been about 5 1/2) and I'm just sitting here waiting for it- ha ha!

Congrats again on doing so well!!

well now i can pretty much eat anything i want within reason... and no real troubles on that... and it was about day 2 and 3 that my spacers hurt the most... esp in the morning!!!!!!! eek and dont worry about the metal brackets.. no one says anything about mine... they might notice it but they dont saya word.. unless they know me and havent seen me in a while but its actually not too bad... i actually feel better then i did before i had braces... cause i'll have awesome teeth sooner then i think!! im just so excited to see the movement! i look at them all day and the clicking is getting more and more obvious too... so yea no worries... its a cinch so far!

Aaahhh! OK, something to look forward to tomorrow morning :-) I'll take some Alleve before I go to bed, see if it helps at all. I'm so happy to hear that you can eat pretty much anything after less than a week. That's so great! As funny as it may sound, I think I will feel better *socially* once I get the wires in. Right now I think it just looks a little silly, all bracket but no wire. And what's the clicking?? :?

its weird... when i put slight pressure on some of my teeth with my other teeth they suddenly move ever so slightly and you feel it click ... but you cant see them move ... it actually feels like they are moving alot when the do that... im not too sure what it means but movement is the only conclusion i can come up with!

Yeah, I chalk that up to movement, too. I actually push on the bottom of my teeth to see if they "click" or not. Or other wise feel wierd b/c to me that means they are more likely to be moving. I know I'm probably not technically supposed to be doing that but it's sooooo hard not to. .. although at the moment the LAST thing I want to do it touch this front tooth. It doesn't click but it huuuuuuurrrrrttttsss. So I'm just leaving it alone. For now.

Movement is great!!! Click away!! Sorry the pain has to go hand in hand with it. No pain, no gain I guess

Happy to report, woke up this morning, Day 2 of spacers, and still no pain *knock on wood* Beginning to wonder if they put them in right- lol! I'm sure they did and I have a feeling tomorrow I will wake up  bc it will get me, I'm not that lucky- lol!

Either Alleve is a gift from God or maybe it does hurt and I'm just used to it from going through it for the first time when I was in 4th grade- ha! I'm still expecting it to hit me from out of nowhere
