Well, i'm suppose to get them off at the end of the year i believe, my teeth are coming along really well.

I just went for another adjustment a few weeks ago, the ortho put on a bottom rectangular wire to start the torque, and rotate those roots forward, i can already see the difference in the bottom.

I'll take some photos soon and post them up!!

Hi Chris,
I just read your story, and your progress is amazing!
My bottom teeth were similar to yours, as they were behind the other teeth, but mine didn't take as long to be attached to the wire.
Good luck with loads more progress... and it sounds like we'll be getting the braces off around the same time :)

Hey Guys!

Just taken some new shots today, i've been a bit lazy with the posts lately. I had my adjustment a few days ago, he put a stiffer wire on top and took off the power chain ontop, and there's still a rectangular wire on the bottom, so those teeth will continue to rotate.

I was in a bit of pain for a few days, with the change of the top wire, it was even painful to eat toast. I've posted the 79 week progress shots up and compared them with the initial 3 week shots.

As you can see, the huge difference! Below is the comparison with the alignment of the bottom teeth, comparing them with the initial 3 week shots.

Big, Big,Big difference!!! Totally amazing, and my orth told me i'll be able to get these things off sometime before the end of the year!!

And you can definitely see how my lower arc has widened! it's amazing, I hope this is motivational for you guys!

Thanks so much guys!! yeah the wire on top is REALLY thick, lol - I have no idea of the gauge! But all i know is that, once he replaced it about 10 days or so ago, it's been sore for maybe 8 days, just today am i able to eat properly!

Definitely loving the transformation, it's a wonder what modern orthodontics can do!!

stay tuned for more updates.
