TWO DAY COUNTDOWN!!!
I can't wait.. I haven't been this excited in a long time. haha I don't think I was this excited for the other appliances coming out. I think it's knowing that I'm finally going to be a "normal" braced person w/out any extra hardware. lol I'm hoping that it's not going to take too long. I want to get in and out of there.

Samara- I'm not sure about the no chocolate and ceramics. surely not! haha If so then man that sucks for ya'll. I couldn't live w/out my chocolate. We are going to partying it up on Weds. haha Maybe I'll take the kids to Sonic after school and we can toast w/our slushes! haha

I'm back and let me tell you it was a doozy.. I am appliance free but wow does my mouth hurt. I have another power chain on the top.. we're moving them the other direction now I believe.. I don't really know.. The bottom we're going to start closing the gaps.. I lost my "bling, bling" chain on my exposed canine and I've got a wire now hooked to him. He's rocking his way in.. It's going to be a long day I think.. probably worse tonight. I know that all this hurting means movement though so I won't complain too much. I'm going to attempt to get some pics in just a little while when everyone leaves the office. I think it will be exciting to compare my new ones w/the old ones we'll see what we can do.

Okay today is so much better then yesterday. There were a couple of times that I really wanted to cry it hurt so bad. I'm doing okay right now. I've got to get back by the ortho because these back brackets where they cut off the appliance are tearing my tongue up. they're very sharp. I'm hoping they can buzz them down real quick.. going to get my hair done this afternoon. woo hoo!! It's almost spring so it's time for me to go back to blonde. I always go dark in the winter, to my husband's aggravation. The question is now to have bangs or not to have bangs. lol I can't make up my mind. I guess we'll see when we get there. My teeth are awesome. They're moving I feel them so that's good.

Back from Spring Break. We had so much fun. We went to Louisiana. We went on a swamp tour, toured a plantation house.. drove all over New Orleans looking at Hurricane Katrina stuff

It was a learning experience.. we all came back with a new appreciation for what we have and what was lost there. I thought I understood but until you see it you have no idea. it's so sad that it's been almost 3 years and they still don't have it all re-built. Needless to say we've been doing some checking in to the Hurricane Katrina relief effort charities..

Teeth are the same no changes really.. I'm worried that they didn't tighten the wire on my "missing" tooth. I know it didn't hurt very bad and it wasn't sore long like I thought it should be. Oh well a few more weeks and we'll know something.

I'm very optimistic today about my teeth.. I have some new rubbing w/my spring.. I'm getting some sore spots where it's rubbing up against my mouth above my lip.. I guess that means that it's moving! haha It's right where the wire is hooked to the MIA tooth that we're pulling down. In my head it's rubbing right there because the tooth is coming in and it's pushing the spring out right there. I have no idea if this could be possible but it sounds good to me..

So I browsed through you story a bit and you have had some great progress!!!! Those teeth are lining up beautifully! Such an inprovement in the top arch!! That's great!

As for those springs... try to be patient. I thought mine werent doing anything either because they never really hurt. Those suckers work though, I'm tellin ya.

WOW! You have been through a lot but I must say your attitude is uplifting!! You're teeth have made a lot of progress too!

I'm curious to know why your ortho put the brackets on without wires for so long? Was it just so your mouth could get used to them?

WWWHHHEEEEWWWW!! I'm finally back. Man life is crazy around here. My boss had a new baby.. He was out on paternity leave. One of the ladies in the front was sick and out for a week.. Other boss had new grandbabies so they're out for a few weeks. To top it all off BASEBALL IS HERE! haha I'm officially in the swing and it's not going to slow down until July or so.. I need to be more faithful on my posting though.

Teeth are awesome. They're not really hurting me, which sucks, and I can see a lot of changes on the bottom. The powerchains did they're thing and smacked those teeth right up against the others.. Now I have mondo gaps where before they were all evenly gapped. haha I'm crossing my fingers that next appt he'll fix the two that still overlap. I think once they're side by side I can handle the down hill slide to finishing. My bite is a mess right now. I can see changes in that too but it's still open. That makes it so hard to eat in public. You have to cover your mouth you never know when some food is going to fly out of there! haha

My hair is awesome.. I love it. I got my blonde highlights back on and went ahead and did platinum. It's pretty cool I think. haha She said no go on the bangs right now. She said I'll be mad in a few weeks when I want my ponytail all slicked back. Smart thinking on her part because at the fields it's so much easier to have it all out of my face.

Hello to all! Just back from my ortho.. It was a good visit but a little disappointing.. I got a new power chain but in the same spot.. I got some new underties but that's really it. I can tell a little soreness on my MIA canine that is coming in. It's pulling alright. haha That's a good thing though. He said this month won't show a ton of progress on the bottoms but that next month is going to be huge so be ready for it. I decided to try the glow in the dark green.. I HATE THEM! haha I got in the car and though what the fat have you done? lol They're pale and my teeth look hideous.. I'm crossing my fingers the next month goes by fast. Back to work now to try and get caught up!!

The MIA tooth has made an appearance! This weekend she broke the skin and I have the tip of a tooth poking out! I've never been so excited about a new tooth. I don't go back to the ortho for another 2 weeks and I'm crazy busy so don't have much time to post anything.. I don't even have time to read anyone else's. I'll be checking up later!!

WOO HOO!!!! Super pumped!

Oooh I tried glow in the dark green for 1 tooth in the back. It turned so dingy by the time my next adjustment came around. I hope your glow in the dark fared better than mine.

Okay I haven't been here in forever.. I swear my life is getting so busy I don't even know where the time goes. Ortho said last week that we're just holding on the top for now.. we're going to wait and see how things work out w/the bottoms so that we can make the bite right before we de-band.. the bottoms are looking scary but they're coming along. haha I can see TONS of progress.. Take notice that the MIA tooth on the left.. he's not missing anymore. He's come down w/the rest of them. THANKS BE TO THE HEAVENS FOR THAT!
