OMG!!! Your teeth are B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!!!! I cannot imagine that you have another 2 years in braces, however, I am no ortho  thanks for posting a pic. I love seeing everyones progress. Miss Smiley, I posted my new ligs! I know I told you I would get the red and green ones on here but the holiday ran away with me, so at my recent visit I got pink--my signature color. Have a great night!!! Lori

Miss smiley your teeth look really good. It's hard to believe you had extractions (i had to go back to your first set of pictures to double check i had the right person. Surely with the way your teeth are now you should have the braces off sometime this year?

Once again, congratulations on your progress.

Like everyone else, I can't imagine you having a three year sentence with that kind of progress. Beautiful pictures, Miss Smiley!

Disco - I would love to go back to getting my colored ligs, but after I had my allergic reaction, which may have been the latex in the powerchains or the dye, my ortho is reluctant to have me go back to any colors. Rather, he tells me to come in anytime for lig changes.

Newmetal - I have been following your progress as well and I think your teeth look great! Nice to see the progress of other extraction buddies!

Jenn - Oh don't I wish I could shorten my sentence by a year!

To all - Happy New Year! We get to put the past behind and start anew! I can't believe that it will be almost 9 months of ortho treatment in a short few days! A year in braces will have been a breeze!!!! I will post pics after my adjustment this weekend!

I had my adjustment and....

1. No more double powerchain on the lowers!

2. Powerchain on uppers and lowers.

3. Might not need elastics anymore, eventhough I didn't have to wear them for more than 2 months.

The ortho has been doing most of the work on my past 3 adjustments. I think it's because I've been having all these funny problems that he just wants to monitor my progress more carefully. Pictures to come later.

Hey guys! I'm still around, haven't had much time and been in the mood to update. I've been really sick so most of my time has been spent sleeping. I will update either right before or after my next adjustment which is in 2 weeks.

Hi Smiley! I just read your story and I hope you're feeling better! Your teeth are amaaaazing! I think you gaps have closed remarkably well. I can't believe you're sentenced to another two years - what on earth are they planning on doing for the rest of the time? Your teeth look almost perfect already!

Hi Miss Smiley!

I hope you're feeling better soon. Your teeth look gorgeous! I had the same teeth extracted a couple weeks ago. I hope my spaces close as quickly as yours have!

Take care!

Okay guys, I'm back to being 100% better! Thanks for everyone's well wishes. I really wanted to rip the braces out while I was sick, the brackets just made my mouth feel icky and blech! Now that I'm better, I'm excited about my adjustment this Saturday. I'm hoping the rest of the gaps close up with this next powerchain. *crossing fingers* I really can't believe how much my teeth have come along!! I find myself smiling into mirrors more often and showing off a big grin to people. Thank you to all of Archwired for your continued support and positive thoughts!
