Oy Vey to the rain! But we've been very fortunate as to where we live. The tiny little town I live in is on gradual slope so water runs out of town towards the lake. Although quite a bit this year my yard has been a lake itself. It's nice to see everything so green though!

I still remember the first time I was in a car that was going 100mph! But it wasn't on a track.....and it wasn't very safe.....and it scared the crap out of me!

Hey Ken!!!,
How's the Vega going. Is it strip worthy yet?
Have you seen those cute deer lately?
Have you come down yet from that smoke and tire burnin high?Been workin the rod lately? The petty ride - a -long sounds fantastic. I'd love to give it a try! I went for a 140mph ride on my bike and that was killer!
How are the the toofies?

Good luck this week, Ken!

Love hearing about the Vega. But maybe since it has and Olds rear it should be called a Vegmobile...

Great you figured out what was going on with the hotrod. Sounds like it was pretty puzzling -- amazing how these things sometimes work out so simply.

Bad news about the tongue crib Ken  I don't envy you there! Hopefully your tongue will learn the error of its ways quickly without the need for too much punishment.

Hi Ken

I thought you had been quiet for a while and wondered where you'd got to. Sorry to hear about the tongue crib, hopefully it won't be as bad as it sounds.

I'll be getting IPR on my top teeth to reduce my triangle at my next appointment and I look forward to the gap closing.

Sounds like you're doing well and things are moving along well.

Regards
Joney

aw Ken, sorry I missed your birthday :( glad you had a good meal out though, and I'm sure the good looking waitresses were an added bonus

I just replied to your post on my blog about the habit crib. I read once about something called a bluegrass appliance. Instead of spikes it has a roller which gives your tongue something to play with thereby keeping it away from your teeth.

There's a link here http://www.johnsdental.com/articles/ort ... uegras.htm

Is there any chance you could have something like that instead? It looks a lot less unpleasant than the spiked thing.

Hope you have a great Thanksgiving! Catch you later xx

Happy birthday, Ken. I absolutely love ribs, especially american style ribs. Tony Romas tried to get going out here, but it didn't quite fire with the locals. I really loved their onion rings.
