Wow, Linda I've just checked your story and you've come such a long way. Your teeth look fantastic. Those elastics sure do work. I know they're somewhere in my future but after seeing what they've done for you it makes them so worthwhile.

Best wishes

Hullo Linda21!

[quote]He then did something extraordinary which both touched and demonstrated to me that it's just not all about teeth when treating a patient. We sat down at his desk and we went through a montage of patient photos with similar cases to mine. It was interesting and heartening to see the final result for these patients. Dr N said to me how thrilled he was with how well my teeth and bite had responded. He said “You don’t remember what your teeth looked like the day you walked in, but I doâ€

Linda, it may be difficult to have perspective because you are stuck in the braces every day, looking for those changes, but when you look at where you were and how far you have come, you're doing fantastically! It's great that you are so close to the end, Linda, and hopefully this elastic will get things going for you on that right bite. Those are some great pics!

That jaw incident sounds scary! Glad it ended okay for you, though.

And sorry I haven't been checking back like I should, I missed your appointment AND your jaw scare!

Here's to progress on that right bite!

As a graduate of premolar contact as well, I can entirely understand what you're experiencing. Good stuff.

Using redundant elastics for, er, target practice - now there's a thought.

Linda, that's great news about your premolars meeting! It's exciting to hear about this progress as I'll be experiencing this soon enough.
Hope things carry on the way they have been going so far.

My bite feels a whole letter better now that I have contact.
I bet! I'm so happy for you (and you know I can relate to the amazement of having those molars be in contact!). Yay Linda21!

Hope those elastics are continuing to work well for you, and that your new abode and increased job responsibilities are treating you well.

Hi Linda,

Just catching up on your thread. Congrats on having contact with your molars!!!! :D It is incredible what eslastics can do, i think i would have freaked out if my bit was off from having them out just for a while. I am glad to hear everything is moving along.

Keep up the post :D

That's fantastic Linda! I'm so happy for you. :D
Hope everything goes to plan until the big day, all that elastic-wear has paid off so far so I'm sure that occlusion will come in no time. :)
