You're welcome and thank YOU about the grapes tip! I didn't even think of that! They're so easy to just pop in your mouth and not think about it. I'd go with seedless even if I didn't have braces because I don't like the way the seeds feel in my mouth. That's good about the mixed pieces of fruit, I should try that sometime.
Take care :)

Wisdom teeth extraction gaps on the lower jaw...

#77 Post by CelestialVoices »

They finally feel normal! I run my tongue along the gaps on the bottom and I notice that they finally feel closed all the way just like my uppers do, wierd huh considering I got them out QUITE a while ago. No problems with them or anything thankfully :)

Thanks for the cheers Rage, I know that wasn't having to do with my actual braces, but I try and be observant to any changes in my mouth, no matter what they are. :)

talking and stuff hurts lol

#79 Post by CelestialVoices »

Nothing major to report, but let me tell you talking/laughing/smiling when a band from your expander is digging into your lip on one side......well it's painful lol. I was on the phone for a LONG time with a very good friend of mine last night/into the morning and now my mouth just needs to heal over and I'll be okay. COME ON AUGUST! It's time to get that expander OUTTA THERE! :D

at the 3 month mark :)

#85 Post by CelestialVoices »

It's been 3 months since I got my upper braces put on, and I'll be getting my expander out very soon! I go back to school August 19th to move in and classes start the 21st, so whatever Monday or Wednesday I can schedule is when it'll come out :)

detached bracket :(

#86 Post by CelestialVoices »

My ortho said this might happen to brackets that are attached to crowns, that they would come off the tooth but still stay on the wire...well that's happened to me.

I noticed it just yesterday that it's come off my crown and has slid all the way to the right to where it touches another bracket.

I don't know what caused it but I will definitely call my ortho ASAP about it, thankfully I go back to school the 19th so I will be able to get in there to get it fixed as well.

Appointment made....but bracket got worse :(

#89 Post by CelestialVoices »

Well I go for my expander removal/bracket fixing/whatever they need to do on Wednesday, August 23rd at 8 am. I was flossing my teeth today with my proxibrush and that bracket is just hanging in there, I can move it with my finger! So, I guess I'll have to be super careful brushing, flossing, and also not get too crazy with the kissing.
Until next time,

Thanks Lucy! Actually my boyfriend was able to fix my bracket, the dang thing got tipped as well as sliding over! So now it is in place and 'normal' again, so hopefully the ortho won't need to fix it.
