Haven't seen it in 3 cities (Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne)
Not worried, happy with my Colgate "TOTAL" dental ribbon floss and GUM threaders (the blue loops)

Superfloss ... terrible
Ask any ortho that's HAD braces to see what they recommend. Bet it won't be Superfloss.

It looks like the oral b superfloss is the only threaderfloss available in Oz. :(

I agree with Aussierob that the colgate total floss is great. It doesn't shred and it slides between my teeth very easily. Using a floss threader is a bit of a pain, though.

They're not exactly what I'd call readily available, but you can sometimes find them in very large pharmacies and sometimes in Priceline. Most dentists carry them too.

Hey Karen!

I've done some research, and while my crest glider floss is cheap and available for me, it's only in small packages in my area, and the cost is slightly cheaper than dentakit, but with shipping you wouldn't be saving anything at all.

Sorry to get your hopes up. :(

Why don't you just order some from dentakit.com though?

I'm going to update on my "favourite floss" choice...
Now I like the "Caredent" brand "periotape" with PTFE fibre. Caredent also market an excellent range of interproximal brushes and rubber toothpick stick things (I'll need these once my permanent retainer is glued in)
Caredent available at "Priceline" stores and supermarkets!
