Yes, I bought one when they were on special offer for £5, but it was rubbish.

I have one... it was recommended by my Ortho's assistant. I used to switch off with this and Glide Floss. They both have their strengths and weeknesses. This thing is less time consuming but doesn't get the job done alone. The batteries died on mine a couple of months ago. Rather than replace the batteries I've started alternating between Glide Floss and DenTek Brush Picks.

I found one on sale for $2 and tried it.
It works ok under the wire, at the gumline. I then floss above the wire normally. No more floss threaders for now.
