Loving my comfort cover! Update after orchestra concert

#1 Post by laurahalvey »

I ordered a comfort cover from Dentakit and it came in today. I immediately grabbed my clarinet and tenor sax, and could play immediately. No rubbing, no wax, and completely comfortable.

My husband says they're a bit noticeable, but they're mostly clear so it's not a big deal. I couldn't care if they were purple, as long as I could play my instruments.

Now the big test. I have a huge orchestra performance in church tomorrow. We'll put these CCs to the test!

******

I played an entire concert, no trouble at all. My only difficulty was learning to keep my embochure tight around the plastic so I didn't lose any air from the instrument. After a few measures of warm up, it was no problem at all. I am totally in LOVE with this device!

Musicians....it's the best investment I ever made for my braces. Wax doesn't even begin to create the comfort of my comfort covers.

Reminds me alot of a mouth guard. Does it stay in place, or does saliva make it loose and slippery.
