What did your ortho "give" you?

I got hardly anything!

I got one piece of threader floss, one pink tepe brush and one box of wax!
No joke! Not even a box of floss, just one piece!!
Thankfully I had read lots of posts on here about what I would need and had already bought my own kit.

You definitely got stiffed. Can you go in to get more supplies as needed? I was at the orthodontist last week getting my surgical hooks added to my arch wires and they were practically throwing supplies at me to get me through the 2 weeks that I wouldn't be seeing them.

I am not entirely sure what my Ortho gives to new patients, but I will reply back as soooon as I get my braces put on. I know one of the Ortho's I considered gives an electric toofbrush.

Let's see...I got floss, floss threaders, wax, a toothbrush, proxa brushes, a mouth mirror, a regular mirror, timer, and chapstick! All in a handy little carrying bag.

I got all kinds of goodies from my ortho:

Oral B electric toothbrush, Crest Complete w/Scope toothpaste, bottle of Crest advanced mouthwash, wax, floss threaders, regular floss, superfloss, a travel orthodontic toothbrush, those tablets that turn color to show where the plaque is on your teeth.

My ortho gave me an Oral B electric brush did as well. I'm in top braces for just over 2 weeks. I'm not sure if I like it or not yet. Feels like it's a little...rough with my gums. How have you liked yours? Stuck with it?

It was a long time ago so I don't really remember but I don't think I got anything exciting lol. Just flosser things and wax and a toothbrush and some pamphlets and instructions or taking care of my teeth and things like that.

pretty much got the same thing. Wax, othro toothbrush, travel othro toothbrush, a mirror to look at my teeth. Thats pretty much it.

I got wax, proxy brushes, floss, and a Sonicare toothbrush. I'd say I was pretty well equipped after leaving the office!

I got:

A V-shaped brush (for teeth with braces, right?)
An interdental brush (which I broke 2 weeks after use, I needed to buy a more durable Oral-B one)
A wax (which I don't even use, thanks to the perfect braces my ortho installed)

But I wasn't instructed on how to brush my teeth using those brushes she gave me. I just thanks Youtube for helping me out.
