Kind of. Since I have two bonded retainers, I have to use threader floss and I use flouride mouthwash every other day. It has caused some spotting on my teeth so I don't to overdo it. I have to wear my retainer at night so when I wake up, it's like having the braces in again. ewww! I don't have to brush after everything I eat now and that is great!

i used to have to use the floss threader but my ortho assistant turned me on to this automatic flosser, and it works awesome! I use it to floss under my brackets so there is no need to thread the floss, then every other day i will use regular floss above the bracket ( no more threading at all!).
