Rubber Band Donations

#1 Post by Southrngroove »

I participate in Wearable Arts in Juneau, Alaska. For my 2022 design, I’m using the extra rubber bands my daughter didn’t use during braces for the piece. I try to recycle as much as I can. I received permission from admin to ask for donations. If you have extra bags of rubber bands you haven’t used, do you mind donating? I would need them by mid-December at the latest.

I will submit photos of my piece afterwards (end of February).

Previous pieces have been made from aluminum, copper, recycled airline cups, and tennis turf and net.

I appreciate you considering.

I knew I hung on to those things for a reason...I have 10 packs that I can send along. I'll go get a suitable envelope when I am out and about today. Is there a person that I should add to the address?
I'll let you know when I pop them in the mail. They will be coming from North Canton, Ohio.

I mailed them today. I forgot to enclose a little note that I had written....in any event, best of luck with your project!
