Just curious, how often do you clean your hawley retainers? Do you clean them every day? Every week? I use Retainer Brite, but I'm not sure how often is too often...

Daily; the Retainer Brite cleaners or efferdent (sp) denture cleaning tablets.

I clean them daily. I brush with water once to get off whatever residue left on them over the night, and then brush them with castile soap to clean them when I take them off every morning. I soak them in retainer brite cleaning tablets once a week.

You need to clean them every single day.

I do the same as Assertives. My ortho advised to use retainerbrite only once per week.

I soak mine in Denta Soak every single day.

You should be cleaning and disinfecting your retainers every single day.
