I'm new to this forum! I had my braces off around 1 year ago and have just had both of my Essix retainers replaced free of charge by my Orthodontist, as they were guaranteed for a year and my old ones were in a bad state!
My top one fits perfectly with no gaps between my retainer and my teeth, however I'm unsure on my bottom one.
It fits good apart from 2 teeth, where there is a gap between my teeth and my retainer. I didn't see this at the dentist because it felt fine on my teeth so didn't think to check in the mirror.
I'm not sure if this is an issue or will have any impact on my teeth, can someone shed some light, as I'd like to ring them ASAP if I need to get a new one made!
