What was the first thing everyone ate when they were off?

Getting my braces off December 5th and compiling a list of things to bite into. So far, I have down an apple from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory candy apples and Corn on the Cob. Any others?!

I ate tootsie rolls, and bit of honey. I really wanted fresh sweet corn on the cob, but its out of season.

I ate all the candy that my ortho gave me, eating some right there while sitting in my car immediately after exiting the ortho's office: yes, I was THAT desperate for candy.

A friend of mine told me she was dying to get hers off to eat corn on the cob, lol! Orthodontist brought the idea of getting my braces off today after wearing them for around a year and a half now, and your topic made me think about what to eat. I'd probably eat Mongolian Beef Lo Mein from a Chinese restaurant that's near my orthodontist's office! Yep, most likely that, since that's my favourite food, lol

My 13 yr old daughter and I have recently discussed what we want to eat once we get our braces off. I'm personally going to eat a Big Hunk candy bar, Bit O Honeys, and corn on the cob....oh and nuts too!!!
The orthodontist says we should both have ours off by June...hopefully sooner!!

Having my lingual braces off was actually kind of brutal, so I didn't feel like eating exciting stuff right away!
I did have some amazing, sticky chocolate bars that I'd really been missing within a few days though.
(They will have been off a week this afternoon, and I get my retainers on Friday. There's a massive, crusty baguette in my very near future though...)

Mine come off on March 2nd and I already have plans to drive straight from my ortho's office to the mall for a big bag of caramel corn. The one food I have stayed away from completely is popcorn, and I can't wait to get some!

Awww this has just reminded me of no popcorn! I was craving it yesterday and nearly went to go buy some! I am glad I didn't! Hubby has promised me zaza bazaar as soon as I get these bad boys off. It is a big all you can eat buffet restaurant....the food is so good!!!

I ate a grilled cheese bacon burger from Carl's Jr.
There are so many foods I want to eat because I was just de-braced yesterday! Yaaayy
