wisdom teeth decide to show up

Hi, I have just spotted that one of my wisdom teeth have broken through my gum..
I got my braces removed in December, I now have a permanent retainer on top and bottom front 4 teeth, I also wear a retainer at night.
I think my gum is too short for a full big tooth at the top. but that is a whole other question..

My question at the moment is...do I need to tell my dentist asap and will this move my teeth...I am thinking I will need a new retainer for my new arrival (there is only a tiny bit showing at the moment). I did think I was one of those people who never get their wisdom teeth but no...32 and I am teething

I would DEF ask the dentist... I wouldnt chance it. Congrats on the new arrival

I would ask the dentist, it may be best to see if they need to be removed. What type of removable retainers do you wear at night?

Absolutely! Your wisdom teeth could potentially move your other teeth.

Definitely! They can be removed through your gums before your tooth completely erupts and should not interfere with your retainers! Make sure to mention your concerns to the dentist/oral surgeon!
