Wednesday!! Wednesday!!! Ahhhh!!!!!!!!! :)

Dear Braces,
Today I found out that I will be saying goodbye to you next Wednesday. I never thought I would say this, but I think I will miss you. I know we fought a lot, but we had some good times, and you were there for me so much.
I will never forget the time you got a black bean stuck on you on my first date with that really hot accountant. Looking in the mirror after the date and realizing the black bean and you hung out for nearly two hours while I rambled on was so humiliating. I am glad we can look back and laugh about it now.
Or how about the time you decided to break your top arch wire on Christmas.. and I couldn’t eat mom’s prime rib? I thought I would never forgive you! But, now I realize you were probably watching out for my diet like a good friend. Now that I think about it, you really helped me become health conscious. No more ribs, corn on the cob, starbursts, you name it… you made sure I didn’t have it!
And of course.. who could forget your loyalty. You stuck by my side through thick and then. You were only supposed to be with me for 26 months… but like a true companion, you stuck around for 52 months. Even when I hated you, cried and wished you go away… you stuck right by my side.. How amazing of you…
But, really… you were there for me. You were there when I called off my wedding, when I broke my foot, when I found out I had cancer… and you never left me. In the midst of all the hard things I was going through, you constantly reminded me that I had something beautiful to look forward to… my smile. Because of you, I always knew there was a light at the end of the tunnel.
I know I have said some mean things to you braces. I know I have even sometimes wished you didn’t exist. But, before you go, I need you to know I love you from the bottom of my heart. I can’t imagine the past four years of my life without you, or who I would even be if you weren't by my side.
Thank you for your friendship braces. Because of you… I will smile for a lifetime.
