Well after 22 months, two weeks and 1 day, my braces are off! It's really an odd feeling to me to see my teeth straight without the braces. I had crooked teeth for so long, they now look foreign to me. I say sort of because I had permanent retainers placed. They're going to take a little getting used to!

Its so good having the braces off, I've had mine off for about 8 years and I have never smiled so much! Now it looks like i need to correct my open bite though so back on they go. Enjoy your new smile

Congrats!!!! How do find the fixed retainers? Any issues wearing the essix with them? Thanks, and again, WOO-HOO to getting out of tooth prison!
