Results after 18 months... pictures

I have just had my lingual braces removed- (bottom braces will be removed in 5wks)
But there is a gap in my front teeth.... am I being obsessive ... is it noticeable....
What can be done to get rid of gap?
I should be happy with results but all I can see is a gap....!

You can't really see the gap in the photo as the photo is to small but it is there....-its about 1mm - tiny but enough to get food trapped!

Do you have a retainer?
Are you wearing it?
That small of a gap can be corrected in the retainer 999 out of 1000 times.

Hi, really- you think it can be corrected...

Yes I am wearing a retainer- a clear plastic one- I was told to wear it at night only- but I try and wear it about 12 hours a day.

I never used to have a gap- it developed about 12 months into my treatment. My ortho said the only way to get rid of it was to file down the sides- but being my front teeth I was not happy with this. So I said leave it. bit since having the lingual removed its a lot more noticeable if you are standing close to me ...
