Essix and Crest whitestrips

I just had my braces removed today

and I am having a dental
cleaning tomorrow. I would like to try Crest whitestrips, but I have heard that they tend to slide around. I will have the Essix retainers, and I
wonder if placing the retainer in my mouth will cause the whitestrip to
be pushed up into my gums. Does anyone have experience with these
two items together?

You would have to remove your retainers while using the White Strips..they definetely would get pushed up and off your teeth if you tried to put your Essix on with them!

I just got braces removed today as well and the essix actually did a good job of holding the white Strips on my teeth. Bad thing was my gums are still swollen from getting my braces off so they were really sensitive when I first put the strip on so I will probably hold out on trying the strips again for like a week.
