A friend of mine was surprised to hear I was instructed to wear my hawleys 24/7 for 3 months, I guess she got the same one week, then only nights treatment, and her teef are fine. Makes me wonder if it really is that big a deal wearing them 24/7 more that long. My theory is that it is more of an effort to ween your teeth off the requirement for support. I dont think I'm willing to try it out on myself, even though I dont think I'll survive 3 months straight of these retainers.
