Okay, I'm naked!

Here is my before:

I can't believe it's finally over!

So, as you can see, I got my hawleys this morning when I got debanded, and I pick up my essex trays on Thursday. I'll be using them for whitening as well.

I just had my first un-braced meal. It was strange and wonderful

You're right, Meryaten, I am thrilled! And a little nervous too, that my teeth are going to "go back" - I know they probably won't as long as I wear my retainers as instructed, but still ... it's just a little nervewracking, I guess, being naked.

I picked up my Essex trays yesterday (they do them "in house" so they were ready early) and I have to admit ... I HATE them. I just feel like they collect spit and it's so uncomfortable! I guess it just takes a while to get used to different types of retainers, and I'm sure if I give it time I'll adjust, but in the meantime

BUT! I don't want to seem like I'm saying "my diamond shoes are too tight!" I am loving having this problem, trust me.

Congrats on being naked... I to just got naked this week and your right the first meal I had it was strange that I didn't have to go running to the bathroom to pick food out of my braces but at the same time I enjoyed every bit of that meal
