I am smiling! Picture included

Wow, thanks so much for the nice compliment. It's all worth it in the end. I love to smile now. The journey of double jaw surgery and braces for 21 months is worth it!

Amazing that it is over. I see my surgeon just before Thanksgiving for his final evaluation. I hope to get some of his before pictures as I know he has a ton of digital ones.
Would you mind posting a picture of your teeth after he files down your tooth? I have one sharp canine and one rounder canine too, hence the weird question.

Anyway, your smile looks fantastic. Too bad it's going to be awhile before I get into braces.

Actually with some natural settling the tooth went up slightly on its own. He did a little filing down of the point of the canine but didn't want t take too much off for bite reasons. It still looks fine to me.

With the jaw surgery, did you have to pull your bicuspids

I didn't have any teeth extracted with this round of braces/surgery. I had two upper and two lower pre-molars extracted in my teens when I had braces the first time. This was a second go around for me as my bite problems were skeletal but not treated that way the first time.
