I came across this gallery that shows teeth Before and After braces.

In a lot of the AFTER pics the teeth look stained and/or with white spots, and it's in majority of pictures, very few look normal!

Is that just some residue after they remove braces, or are those teeth damaged from bad care? What did your teeth look like after braces? any enamel defects? Especially interested in hearing about those who wore ceramic braces.

Once thye took off my braces they polished them w/ a vibrating kind of tool.
They looked very white

My daughter's teeth definitely didn't look like that when she was finished with her brace. Maybe they just have a terrible camera or lighting?

I'm concerned that most of those "after" pics show damage, not just that particular one. It looks kind of like cement or some acid wash residue or something... I'm hoping that's what it is.
