Hey! :-1

I am counting down the days...........9 more days and then I'll be brace free. 8)

I think the one thing that is bothering me the most is the retainers! I was told I will be wearing the invisalign type. I am worried that I will have problems talking again - and that they will get all funky w/ saliva and stuff?!

Help! :computer: Tell me it will be OK!

Well, if it bothers you, I'LL TAKE THE RETAINERS and YOU WEAR MY BRACES !! :jokerlaugh: :jokerlaugh:

Just kiddin. I'll do anything to get these braces off. :lol:

Congrats on your debanding date! Just one day after mine!

I'll be getting an upper Essix retainer (Invisalign-like), and I was told that it results in less lisping, as there isn't a huge part covering your palate like Hawley retainers.

I'm not so sure about the saliva, though! As with any new appliance, I'm sure there'll be plenty until you get used to it. :lol:
