White Spots on teeth

#1 Post by asianflow »

After I got my braces removed, I have 3 White Spots on my teeth.

2 of them I could see while I still had my braces on and one I couldn't see. While having the braces on, I brushed 3 times a day and flossed everynight. None of the white spots are where the brackers were glued on. All 3 spots were pretty hard to brush.

I'm going to book an appointment with my dentist to get my teeth cleaned. The 3 spots aren't visible unless you look up close and they don't bother me too much although I hope they do come off with a cleaning though.

I have similar spots, not really visible except to me and only if I look closely. They do not come off though, sorry. Whitening can make them look better or worse but they are permanent.

I went to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned and he said he wouldn't be able to remove them. Oh well.

The worst part was that he said I need 2 fillings. I didn't even know I had cavaties.

I brush my teeth 3 times a day, floss everynight (although I didn't floss all my top teeth when I had braces), rarely drink soda, and don't eat candy. Although the spot where I have my cavaties is the area where I didn't floss.

Arghhh....

Those spots are probably decalfication marks and can be masked by whitening and veneering.

This is where your teeth were rubbing against eachother before you had braces! I have a few too and I cant get rid of them! This is why I guess you get your teeth fixed as a young child! I waited 28 years! Good luck!!!
I will have mine fixed, I did not spend all this money to not have good looking teeth!

Treatment with CG Tooth Mousse/Recaldent is supposed to help recalcification.
