Here are my final results. I have to admit, I was really, really surprised! I have included the best before pic that I have. My ortho charges for copies of your before pics, what a rip off! Details about my visit:

First my upper bonded retainer was applied.
Brackets popped off
Bands removed
Glue smoothed off
Retainer fitted (my ortho had to cut the wire on the right side b/c it was preventing my mouth from closing)
Given a mirror
Totally surprised!! Here are the pics:

Not bad huh? I posted earlier and failed to give some background. I had metal uppers only with a nance appliance. The nance was removed two weeks ago, braces removed today.

Your teeth look fantastic (and your upper Hawley looks great on you). Do you have an upper and lower bonded as well?

Uppers placed 2/8/06--Inspire ICE ceramics
Lower (stainless) placed 2/23/06
Treatment time: 17 months (estimated was 12-18 months)
Debonded: July 11th, 2007
Next appointment: June 2008 for retainer & nightguard check

I only had metal uppers, I did not have a full set of braces.

Thank you all! It really has taken me a few days to get used to having a retainer. I am constantly in the mirror trying to make sure that nothing about my teeth have changed! I seem to have an excess amount of saliva which is driving me crazy. I was told to wear the retainer 24/7 for a year. The bad thing is I am moving to Phoenix next week so I have to find an ortho for my retainer checks.

Upper ceramic and lower metal braces
Round #2 - Had braces as a teen for 4 years!
Treatment time: 14 months
Braces on: July 19th, 2006
Bottom braces off: August 29th, 2007
Top braces off: September 19th, 2007
BLWR on bottom and Essix on top!
