Invisalign for tooth behind another tooth hopefully?

#1 Post by Sai »

Hello, I'm hoping that I can get some answers from here, since I'm dying to get invisalign, but my appointment is a month from now ;_;

Well, I have 3 wisdom teeth taken out and one the side where I keep my wisdom tooth, the 3rd tooth from the back broke and was extracted during my wisdom teeth removal.

My lateral grew behind and between my front tooth and my canine and there is no space between my front tooth and canine.

Do you guys think I can still use invisalign for this? Other than that tooth, the rest of my teeth are easy to align.

your replies / advices are very appreciated.

PS: Metal brace or the brace family is not an option for me , since I work as a high paid Model in Japan

Sounds like an advanced case to me based on your description. I would lean towards traditional orthodontics to treat a tooth that is that far palatal. As always, an in person consultation is needed for an accurate medical opinion.

Thanks for the reply. Luckily I am a candidate for invisalign. But I have to wear an epander for 3 months first to widen my jaw.
