Teeth movement

#1 Post by Xero »

I have a very complicated problem. I don't think my ortho knows about it since I'm supposed to get my braces off in a month. So, I'll try it here.

My ortho is trying to use a powerchain to bring all the teeth together. However, use of that will result image "b". It doesn't line up.

I think the left side of my teeth should be pushed towards the right to close the gap and result in image "c".

What do you think? Got a way for me to explain this to my ortho?

To Meryaten:
C would not match up with the midline of my upper teeth, but I don't think the I have an ideal midline anyway, since it seems kinda odd.

To KK:
I want to ask, but I wanted to see if my plan even made sense. Does it?

Well, if there was a way to do it like I say, it would. Then she'd have to fix that, too.

But a powerchain pulls all the teeth together, right? So, I shouldn't be worried.

My ortho has a website, too. It's www.lworthodontics.com

My ortho put me on single ligature elastics and I'm happy to say my problem is being fixed! My teeth are straightening up.
