I have had linguals for about 2 months and had my lower left molar extracted on the same day I had my braces put in.
My ortho has been bery happy with the way it's been healing since then and I have had one adjustment so far. In a few weeks time I will have a micro implant put in to help close the gap.
My problem at the moment (it's been like that for a few days) is that the gum around where my tooth was extracted has become a bit red and slightly swollen and it doesn't hurt as such but I can feel it, as if I had a sore or ulcer there, even though there is nothing. I am taking care of my teeth all the time and cleaning them after each meal, so I am not sure what this could be caused by?
Any advice greatly appreciated!
