does leaning cause over bites?

#1 Post by susieq182 »

I was ccurious if leaning your chin on your hand alot can cause an overbite or make it worse. I would like to know because I am a leaner and I have an over bite. I dont want to make it worse or have it come back after my treatment. i suppose bad posture is wrong all around, but just wanted to know if i am causing more damage to myself then i know.

Well I am also a leaner and I didnt have a bad bite...my dentist an ortho both said that my bite was good...but since removing my braces I have stopped just as a per-caution...I hope this helps
