2 years of braces, prepping for orthagnathic surgery

#1 Post by fridaychunk »

Hi all!

I've been a long time lurker, now registering to be able to post replies and join in.

I'm 44M, UK, with top and bottom metal braces. They've been in 2 years now, and we're preparing for the orthagnathic surgery. I'll know more about what's going to happen after my next consultation.

The journey has been far less difficult than I anticipated. A few snaggy wire ends, using wax far less often than the early days, and only 2 or 3 people asking about my braces out of genuine interest.

Hello all, enjoy your journey too!

Do you have an update? I suspect your braces are off now.
