Crazy tooth dreams

Anyone else have wild orthodontic dreams? A few days into my treatment I had a dream that my canines were falling out while I was sleeping. I was so relieved when I woke up and found them all in place. Then last night...I dreamt I went to an appointment to find my orthodontist had lost some front teeth and had braces put on that looked just like mine. And then he insisted my top treatment was complete, removed those brackets, and tried to fit me with retainers. Only they were rubbery (supposed to be Hawleys) and half the wires were missing. I kept trying to think of how to tell him I didn't think my teeth had moved at all and I certainly wasn't ready for half retainers!

Prior to braces had teeth falling out dreams. In braces had accidental yanking out of all my braces dreams.. Thankfully neither came true.

I have had dreams where I was chewing gum, and realized all my braces had come off and were stuck in my gum! Yikes!

I dreamt the other night I had one loose tooth so I yanked it out and the rest followed like they were all connected by a string. It was a horrible dream lol.

Not necessarily related to ortho treatment. But I've had dreams where my jaw clamps up/locks shut with such force that it starts to crack my teeth and they fall out. I always wake up super happy that they are all still in my face.

i always had terrible teeth about my teeth. that they were falling. that i was losing five teeth at a time.
in Greece superstitious people say that dreaming about losing teeth means death in real life. i am not superstitious and i know that the dreams meant that i didn't take proper care of my teeth (dental phobia) and i was really afraid of losing them young. Terrible and very stressful dreams.
i have not dreamt of my teeth since i got braced!

Had a dream the other night that we were visited by our religious leader and he had lingual braces with rubber bands...that were attached to the brackets inside.

Dude doesn't have braces at all, it was weird. I think it was a reaction to not having any friends at church say anything about my braces yet.

I had another ortho nightmare the other night! I dreamt that I went to my next adjustment, and some guy who wasn't my ortho was just like, oh here's some pictures, that's all for today! I was like, um, no! First of all, you're not Dr. Trimmell! And then my ortho pops up and is like, oh yeah, that's Dan Trimmell, he's assisting me today. And I tell him, Well I'm supposed to have a pano, some Hollywood, and a CheckPop today! (all my ortho's actual tx terms for my next actual appt) And he's like, Oh crap! Sorry I forgot you! So he asks this little girl (dressed like an ortho assistant, she's probably 8 years old) to give me "the panel." So she comes over and starts asking me questions, like Which of these movies do you like the most? (they were all Disney movies) and she circles them with a crayon. Then she asks me when I want to go to Chuck-e-Cheese's (for those who don't have them, it's a kids arcade/pizza place) Then the ortho yells at her because she was supposed to have done something else? And he points to a box of cookie cutters, which I'm supposed to pick out and get some cookie baking ingredients. But before I can do that, poof, I now have my braces off and am waiting to get my retainer/impressions and whatnot. While I'm waiting, one of my front teeth falls out!! It had a weird root that was like 6 inches long, so it's still in my gum technically. The lady has me just push it back in there and bite down on a bunch of bite wings like they do at the dentist when they take xrays. From here things go way off course and involve sinkholes and the apocalypse lol Super weird!!!

My husband always has had them, and I thought he was crazy, until I got braces and now I'm having them. I dreamed my sonicare got stuck in them and all the wires and brackets came out and got wrapped around the brush. Also that some teeth broke. He said that his start disintigrating and turn to powder. He had braces so I'm sure this is where his dreams are founded. I never understood until now, lol. However, I read somewhere that it meant a person was feeling inadequate.
