Bar on top pallet

Hi All,

I have my bottom brace a month and my top ones a week but today I got a bar on the top of my mouth. I am crap with the proper names of them bits but wow its irritating. Then on my bottom right my second last molar had to be removed to make room and there is elastics wrapped around teeth either side to try and close the gap and it is cutting the crap out of my tongue. Anyone know how long I will be agony??
