Cool, welcome aboard! 40 here and got mine 11 Oct. My six and eight year old didn't even notice right away, surprisingly. Either they're not observant or too accustomed to seeing mom and older brother rockin' their own tin-grins too.

Smile, and enjoy!

So I found out at my adjustment on Monday that my original estimate of two years has been changed to three. All because of the appliance I will be getting in the next couple months.Disappointed but what can you do? :(

That is disappointing. I learned a while back to stop asking about treatment times. I figure if I can get them off around my original time, that will be a treat. My lowers went on several months past my original estimated date. I have a feeling that it is a sign that I'll be in mine longer than I thought too.

I wish you will with your appliance.

Congrats!!! 44 years old here and had my ceramic braces placed 6 days ago (ouch) ! I also have a 12 year old son who is
in metal braces (who thinks it's great that I'm suffering with him). Can't wait to hear more of your journey and good luck :jump:
