Your teeth look AMAZING for only being in them 1 month. That gives me great inspiration! I can't wait to see progress in my teeth as well!

Miss Diana I was asking b/c I got mine April 7th . Coolbeans I found someone who started when I did (couple days apart) I must say you teeth are looking great.

That looks amazing. I am not a specialist, even if I read a lot about all this stuff, but that seems like a great progress. I hope I'll be able to show such progress too

tipstar, how is it going for you so far?

Okay, the uppers still look pretty much the same, but the lower arch? OH THE LOWER ARCH!

The day before I got my braces:

This morning, after yesterday's adjustment (with powerchains, those are not fun):

Sorry if the fact that the angle is different makes it hard to compare ... photography is not a skill of mine.

Okay, trying to take sneaky camera phone pics at your desk causes some interesting lighting/angle situations!

After my adjustment this morning! I got a stronger wire across the bottom (now that that stray tooth is totally in line

) a powerchain across the whole bottom archwire, and rubber bands on both sides.

Ow

, but yay for progress!

My ortho also put a bunch of kinks in my top archwire to "fine tune" some of those teeth, but I don't think you can see them in this pic.

I could really feel a difference in pressure on the bottom by the time they were done, you know? There was a lot of action there this morning!

The elastics will take a little getting used to, but I'm sure it will only take a few days.

Karen, I can understand why anyone would have problems being as compliant as they should be ... taking those elastics off to clean my teeth tonight felt wonderful!

Kristen welcome and congratulations! I'm glad my pics have been helpful. This whole site has been so supportive and informative for me through this, I know you'll think so, too!

I guess I'm just sort of surprised that I'm as sore as I am right now. I thought my "liquid diet" days were behind me, but it looks like they're back for a little while.

I know this may be a goofy question, but will I be in elastics for the rest of my time in braces? Or does it vary from person to person?

Wow, Diana, your teeth look awsome, every post they get better and better, I love reading your posts cause your attitude is always so great. It really helps on days when ur feeling not so good abour teeth, again, they look awsome, and thanks for such positive feedback on my last post. Untill next time .
