How are y'all flossing impacted teeth?

#1 Post by StoneburyMaiden » Fri Feb 08, 2019 2:15 pm

I just got on my braces 2 days ago and cry from frustration every night when I floss, this new nightly cleaning routine is taking like an hour to do.

Some of the teeth I can floss, some are so tightly packed together the floss doesn't fit anymore from the braces' pressure. How do you clean those teeth?

Buy yourself a WaterPik, the plug in kind, not a battery operated one. It makes life so much easier! Three minutes with the water pic and then brush and you are all set. Worth every penny.
Lower braces on March 11, 2015, upper braces added July 14, 2015.
Damon, metal bottom / clear top.
Braces off March 26, 2018: Total time in braces: 3 years, 2 weeks and 1 day.
Hawley retainers top and bottom.
