Okay. I've noticed many of you say that it's okay to soak Invisalign in mouthwash or use denture tablets. Invisalign says specifically NOT to do those things. I don't want to spend $95 for a BS cleaning system. So, can you guys tell me if it really is okay to use mouthwash and/or denture tablets? I have a feeling Invisalign says not to so that the cleaning system sales will go up...
Thanks:)

Hey there and welcome! I have used denture tablets myself ( my dentist said it was OK ) and I've had no problems but while they seem to freshen aligner I don't think they work to get them that clean, you know that white film that start to develop. What I use know about twice a week or so is a crest spin brush (6.00 or so) and a little bit of toothpaste, just be sure its a mild toothpaste nothing to abrasive. This has worked great for me, and it sure is a whole lop cheaper than the Invisalign Cleaning System! Good luck and keep us updated with your progress.

Hey Waiting,
Thanks for the response!
I use SonicCare. I've used it about 3 times in the last 5 days on my Invisalign and it seems to be fine. (The retainer I had prior was similar to Invisalign got me ready for the cleaning process.) I just wanted to make sure I wasn't doing anything potentially harmful to my appliances.
I will take your advice but substitute my SonicCare for the Spin Brush.
Thanks again!

i have tried tabs and they do nothing i have found the best way to keep them clean and clear is in the morning brush them on the outside then on the inside because the white crap forms overnite then during the day just rince them and only drink water when they are in, i have worn 1 aligner for 7 weeks and it still looked new.
