9th and 10th tray update

#1 Post by nvrsaynvr »

I went to the ortho on Saturday and expected to start my 10th tray. When my ortho tried it on, he said I wasnt ready for my 10th tray. He wanted me to stay with # 9 for one more week. So, I will have to wear my 9 th tray for an additional one week, which equals to 4 weeks.
I am over half way done with my uppers. My doctor said they look GREAT and that Invisalign is working really well with my teeth. I have noticed a huge difference the last few weeks with my bottoms and I did look at my pics that they took when I first started and there is a MAJOR difference in my teeth and smile.
So far I am happy with Invisalign. :D

Update on 9-10th tray

#2 Post by nvrsaynvr »

Well, I am still on my 9th tray. As posted before, I went to the ortho on February 4 and thought I was going to tray 10. But ortho said no, there was a slight gap in my tray and teeth, he asked me to leave it in for another week (total 4 weeks) I normally do 3 weeks per tray. Well, that means I should have changed trays on Saturday Feb 11, but I noticed that the gap was still there, so opted to leave them on for another week, which would equal Feb 18. I still saw a slight gap in the tray, so now its Feb 21 and I am still on the 9th tray. This is now 6.5 weeks for 9th tray and I will be changing the tray tonight. (I dont see a gap anymore) I hope I do the correct thing. I dont see my doctor until March 4 and I hope I dont have to go back to the 8th or 9th tray.
He told me he had a patient that had to go back 2 trays because she wasnt paying attention to the gaps between the tooth and the tray.
I pay very close attn to that now!!!!

I think I'm experiencing the same thing with the gaps!

Were your gaps between the top of your teeth and the top of the invisalign tray?

10th tray

#5 Post by nvrsaynvr »

Went to ortha on March 4th. Ortho said I did a good job by holding off on putting my 10th tray in, although he doesnt think I had to wait as long as I did. My 10th tray fits perfect and I am sooo happy to hear that! :D
So, on my 10th tray.. 7 more to go on my uppers!! Cant wait. Im actually very happy with my uppers right now and would be satisfied if I can stop now.. but of course the ortho said no way. HE HE
More than half way...
