Treatment time doesn't make sense.

Ok, so my treatment time for Invisalign was supposed to take 14 months. But I have 28 trays, and my orthodontist wants me to change them out every week. But if you do the math, that would take me around 7 months. So how would that take 14 months? I have a deep overbite and crowding on my lower teeth, if that helps.

Hello

You will usually do a few rounds of treatments...so once you finish the first set, they might scan your teeth again to refine it until you are completely satisfied with the results....

Exactly as above. The treatment time is generally not going to coincide with the total number of aligners in the first sets. Generally, the first sets will get you very close to your results, with a new scan/impression after those are done to achieve the rest. Some longer treatments may require several new scans/impressions.
